Little
Elephant Montessori School is
a small, safe, home like school set in the Rockridge
neighborhood of Oakland. Our school has a large, sunny
outdoor play yard and a cozy classroom. In our primary classroom, we have the
capacity for 21 full-time students, with three instructors.
In our pre-primary classroom, we have the capacity for 12 full-time
students, with two instructors.
Children are informally exposed to number of different languages, including sign language, throughout our curriculum. We practice the Montessori philosophy at Little Elephant
and as such, we are a progressive, warm, welcoming, non-rigid environment.
